CCC certification is a product conformity assessment system implemented by the China government in accordance with laws and regulations to protect the safety of consumers and national security, as well as to strengthen product quality management. CCC certification adheres to the “4 unifications” principle: a uniform catalog, a uniform technical specification, mandatory requirements, standards and conformity assessments, a uniform certification mark, and a uniform fee system –encompassing a product certification system that is open, unified in management and globalized. All products listed in the CCC product certification catalog can only be sold after being certified by the certification body, having obtained the CCC certificate and labelled with the CCC certification mark on the product and packaging.
