CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Corporation) Jiangsu Yancheng "Green Energy Port" is a key planning project for the construction and interconnection of the national natural gas production, supply, storage and sales system, and it is also the largest one-time LNG (liquefied natural gas) receiving station project in the world. Three units of tanks were independently designed and built by China, and the world's largest 270,000-cubic-meter LNG storage tank was successfully lifted simultaneously on the morning of 7th September.

The first-phase project of CNOOC Yancheng "Green Energy Port" has built 4 units of storage tanks of 220,000 cubic meters and 6 units of storage tanks of 270,000 cubic meters, with a total tank capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters. After the "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng will fully put into operation at the end of 2023, the annual storage capacity of LNG will reach 6 million tons, equivalent to 8.5 billion cubic meters of gaseous natural gas, which can be utilized for people's livelihood in Jiangsu Province around 28 months.

Hangzhou Hua’an Testing Technology Co., Ltd (brief Hua’an Test), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NG28 Group, has successfully won the bidding and provides comprehensive testing services for 2 units of LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage tanks in 3 lots. The non-destructive testing methods engaged in ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). In addition to, Hua’an Test also provides spectrum test, hardness testing services for this project.
More than 20 engineers continuous provide test service since early February, 2022, who have completed the inspection task one by one with professional working attitude and dedicated working spirit. And several of these engineers were honored “Quality Excellent Individual” by Owner. The non-destructive testing service of CNOOC Yancheng "Green Energy Port" LNG project is successful executed which is not only enriched engineering performance and non-destructive testing experience in the field of petrochemical testing, but also enhance industry reputation and core competitiveness for Hua’an Test.
The petrochemical industry is an energy-intensive industry and a major source of greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, under the background of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", the key industry fields such as petrochemicals, steel, and building materials etc. are cut production capacity to continuously reducing energy resource consumption and carbon emissions per unit of output, which is become the top priority of current work. Hua’an Test will also continue to provide professional non-destructive testing services in the petrochemical and natural gas (LNG) industries, and contribute to the realization of China's overall goal of peak carbon neutralization as scheduled
